Thanks for your warm welcome Macca,

First question I have seen some Tibbe lock picks on you tube etc. Does any one know of a good quality one available. I am concentrating on Ford first of all.

Thanks for the Link I have just purchased one. It is the same one I saw on YouTube.

Is there a device you can put a tibbe key into that will give you the Key Code. I will have to look and see what's for sale on this site when I get a Minute.

Keith

not that im aware of matey but the Tibbe pick can be used to decode the lock your working on by using the series of lines going along the turning handles, you will see what i mean when you receive your tool Wink

Your order was received and your pick will be posted 1st class recorded tomorrow. It's the same pick you see on utube.
There is a ford tibbe decoder , I'll PM you when I find some info.

there used to be a device to put tibbe keys in to decode them but it was rubbish the best advice i can give you is to cut yourself a key cut a as 1,,,b as 2,,, c as 3,,, d as 4 and use this as a guide and you will soon get an eye for them without the need for a guide
and by the way welcome to the forum

Hello Guys I am getting used to using my Tibbe Lock Pick and can open the locks in less than 5 minutes (dont laugh). The last car I tried it on I broke the Pick, I think I put two much pressure on and will have to buy another. I had a few early Tibbe keys without transponder type. I did dismantle an old ford lock and took the numbers from the wafers and tried to make a key up but failed although not realy use to the machine yet, but I'll keep trying and let you know.

Best Wishes

Keith

There is a PM in your inbox that I sent you on the 22 Jun. You haven't opened it yet. To view your message go to "You have (number) new messages". Left click to see your messages.

If the pick broke you were definitely using too much tension. Very light tension is required just to feel where the large cutout is in the disc. Each disc has a large and a small cutout, the small one is a sort of false gate. After finding the number four discs, which have hardly any movement, apply light tension to each of the remaining discs to determine where the big cutout is. This will be where there is the biggest amount of rocking movement. Make a note of where the big cutout is in each position, and line them all up without tension and turn the number four to open the lock.

Your order has been received and your new lock will be despatched on Monday. Your order went in just in the nick of time as there was a price increase as it was being processed. Fortunately you got yours at the old rate.

If there is anything else that we can help with please feel free to ask away, and we will try our best
